Railway Museum's Model Railway meet 19th - 20th May 2007

Model railway enthusist's meeting at Railway Museum, Hyvinkää. This was the first of its kind and everyone considered it an excellent happening. Tapiola club wasn't on display -- yet our club members were showing their models and FREMo modules. I only managed to get to Hyvinkää less than an hour before closing so I had just time to get some shots.

Part of Tapio Palva's 1:50 scale model of Porvoo railway -- a private line close to Helsinki. The scale was selected so that commercial 0-scale wheels could be used.

FREMO layout was prominently displayed. A station, a fiddle yard or a return loop and the operation could begin!

Iiro Niemi has built a demo module showing ta method of constructing scenery to a FREMO module.

Unknown (?) enthusiast's unfinished projects.

Alpine enthusiasts displayed a swedish iron ore railway demo by Olof Holmborg.

Johannis Likos has made a Hr12 loco body mockup from cardboard. While the train was in motion it fooled almost every one.
